Rachel Shahidzadeh is originally from Northern California where she spent her youth in the redwoods and on the beach. She moved with her husband to his hometown of Vancouver, Washington, in 2019 after many years of visiting. She joined Schroeder Law Offices in January 2022 as a Legal Assistant for the Portland Office. In her current role as a paralegal, Rachel assists attorneys on client matters and specializes in water right due diligence and research.
She attended Washington State University Vancouver, graduating in July of 2024 with her B.A. in History. It was her love of research and writing that drew her into the legal field. In her time at WSUV, Rachel worked with the Clark County (Washington) Historical Society and the Southwest Washington Watershed Alliance.
For fun, Rachel enjoys hiking with her family and her dog, reading, and enjoying live music.
