Jeff Nadeau, Associate Attorney

Personal 

Jeff Nadeau grew up in Los Angeles. Then when he wasn’t playing baseball he spent summers camping, hiking, and fishing around the shores of Lake Tahoe and in his mom’s home state of Wyoming. Jeff moved to Reno, NV, in 2001 after finishing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside. He held several positions and earned his Master’s degree. 

During his graduate studies, Jeff attended and had the opportunity to teach classes in wetlands ecology, microbial ecology, and water law. These prompted his interest in seeking a law degree. He moved to Portland, OR, where he attended law school.  

After law school, Jeff returned to Reno where he has remained. He enjoys all the outdoor activities the Reno area has to offer including hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, and playing golf. In addition he has spent the last couple of summers helping coach his nephew’s Babe Ruth League baseball team with his brother.  

In his quest for knowledge, Jeff Nadeau earned his PhD in biochemistry in 2017. 

Jeff Nadeau’s Experience 

While in law school, Jeff Nadeau worked for the Northwest Environmental Defense Center monitoring compliance of local businesses with the Clean Water Act. He also worked as a paid intern for Colombia Riverkeeper where he did research and drafted comments on a Draft Environmental Impact Statement concerning a proposed liquid natural gas facility on the Columbia River. For the last several years Jeff has represented clients in front of administrative law judges in obtaining Social Security disability benefits.  

He joined the team at Schroeder’s Law Offices, P.C. as an associate attorney in June 2023 where his areas of practice include water and property law.
