New Client Policy

Initial/New Client Conference Policy

Schroeder Law Offices attorneys may or may not require payment for the initial consultation. When the matter involves water or water related matters, upon reviewing the intake/conflict information, Schroeder Law attorneys will determine whether to offer the review of the issues and attorney consultation at “no charge,” an advanced flat reduced fee, or at an hourly rate with or without a retainer. Potential clients are not charged until the potential client is informed of the proposed fee, if any, and enters into an agreement that may include payment of an advanced fee or retainer to become a client of the firm. Most matters unrelated to water issues, such as road or lot line easements, are referred.

Schroeder Law Offices, PC, also provides gift certificates during attendance at educational seminars and such redemption is subject to the terms and conditions of that certificate.

Schroeder Law Offices, PC, also provides membership benefit arrangements with the Agri-Business Council, the Oregon Groundwater Association, and the Washington Groundwater Association subject to the terms of those agreements.
