Henry Perlstein

He joins Schroeder Law Offices after over a decade in the legal- and bio-technology industries, and following a legal clerkship at a Florida law firm that represents regional energy utility providers in the state. He earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida and first moved to Oregon in 2020.

Before law school, Henry interned for U.S. Representative F. Allen Boyd, who served on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA, and Related Agencies. As a law student, Henry served as a student associate for two semesters in UF Law’s Conservation Clinic, assisting clients in transactional environmental and land use regulatory matters. He also served as a judicial intern for Circuit Judge Jeffrey R. Levenson in Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. He later undertook post-baccalaureate studies in Computer Science at UF’s College of Engineering.

In joining Schroeder Law Offices, Henry brings experience across a wide range of legal practice areas, including public utility regulation, energy law, state and federal permitting, municipal law, real estate transactions, land use law, and appellate practice. He is also a published author whose legal research interests include common law jurisprudence, property law, due process, administrative law, and civil procedure.

Outside of work, Henry enjoys exploring new places and spending time with friends and family; no one more than his wife, Kat. He has hiked throughout the Western US, including California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and in the Idaho Rockies. He is an avid tennis and basketball player.
