SUMMARY:SLO to Present Continuing Education at the Annual Seaside Conference
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, August 20th\, 2024\, shareholder Laura Schroeder and associates Kelsey Seibel and Max Jones will present two sessions of continuing education for water and wastewater managers and operators at the Oregon Association of Water Utilities (“OAWU”) Seaside conference. OAWU is a nonprofit\, independent association of water and wastewater utilities and is part of a national network of rural water utilities. \nJoin our attorneys from 1-3 p.m. on a seminar regarding out of boundary water. This session will focus on the importance and criteria of drafting a contract for out of boundary water and wastewater services. The second session of continuing education will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. This easement seminar will discuss obtaining or expanding easements for water and wastewater infrastructure maintenance\, repair or replacement. On Wednesday\, August 21\, 2024\, from 10 am to noon\, Schroeder Law’s Portland based attorneys will provide information on creating a water rights inventory to meet deadlines and required conditions including WMCP’s. This seminar will focus on the importance of managing and protecting your water rights\, meeting WMCP\, and green light water requirements. \nIf you’re in attendance\, be sure to connect with Laura\, Kelsey or Max in Seaside.
