Henry is originally from Florida but considers himself a Westerner at heart. After completing his undergraduate and legal studies at the University of Florida (UF), he first moved to northern California in 2012, and later to Oregon in 2020.
Before attending law school, Henry interned for U.S. Representative F. Allen Boyd, who served on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, FDA, and Related Agencies. Through supporting Congressman Boyd, a lifelong family farmer, Henry was introduced to just some of the issues affecting farmers and the agricultural industry in communities throughout the United States.
As a law student, Henry served as a student associate for two semesters in UF Law’s Conservation Clinic, assisting clients in transactional environmental and land use regulatory matters. He also interned for a state circuit court judge, the Honorable Jeffrey R. Levenson, in his hometown in Broward County, Florida. He later undertook post-baccalaureate studies in Computer Science at UF’s College of Engineering.
In joining Schroeder Law Offices, Henry brings experience across a wide range of legal practice areas, including real estate transactions, easements, irrevocable licenses, land use law, probate, unclaimed property, wills and trusts, state and federal permitting, public utility regulation, energy law, municipal law, corporate law, and appellate practice. He is also a published author whose legal research interests include common law jurisprudence, property law, due process, fundamental rights, administrative law, and civil procedure.
